Day 1: Arrival – Arusha

  • Meet & greet at JRO/ARK, transfer to hotel. Safari briefing and rest.
  • Overnight: Arusha.

    • Day 2: Arusha National Park
  • Short drive to the park; game drive among montane forest and open glades.
  • Look for colobus monkeys, giraffe, buffalo; canoe on Momella Lake optional.
  • Overnight: Arusha..
    • Day 3: Arusha → Tarangire National Park

  • 2–3 hr drive via Maasai steppe; full-day game drive among baobabs & elephants.
  • Overnight: Tarangire area or Karatu..

    • Day 4: Lake Manyara National Park → Karatu

  • Morning game drive (ground-water forest, flamingos; chance of tree-climbing lions).
  • Afternoon at lodge; optional Mto wa Mbu cultural tour.
  • Overnight: Karatu.

    • Day 5: Karatu → Serengeti (Central/Seronera)

  • Scenic transit via Ngorongoro highlands; enter at Naabi Hill Gate.
  • Game drive to camp through Seronera (big cats & resident plains game).

    • Day 6: Full Day – Central Serengeti

  • Dawn & afternoon game drives; explore kopjes, river lines and hippo pools.
  • Optional hot-air balloon at sunrise (extra).
  • Overnight: Central Serengeti.

    • Day 7: Serengeti – Follow the Migration

  • Jun–Oct: Head North (Kogatende/Lamai) for possible Mara crossings.
  • Dec–Mar: Shift South (Ndutu) for calving season.
  • Apr–May / Nov: Base in Central/West for mixed herds & cats.
  • Overnight: Area per season (north/south/central).

    • Day 8: Serengeti (AM) → Ngorongoro / Karatu

  • Sunrise game drive; optional stop at Olduvai Gorge museum.
  • Continue to crater rim/Karatu by evening.
  • Overnight: Ngorongoro rim or Karatu.

    • Day 9: Ngorongoro Crater → Lake Eyasi

  • Early descent; 5–6 hrs on the crater floor (chance of black rhino, lions, hippos).
  • Afternoon transfer to Lake Eyasi.
  • Overnight: Eyasi area.

    • Day 10: Lake Eyasi (Cultural) → Arusha / JRO

  • Early visit with Hadzabe hunter-gatherers and Datoga blacksmiths.
  • Midday return drive to Arusha or direct airport drop. Trip ends..
